You are cordially invited to experience the hospitality and charm of
The Red Oak Inn Bed & Breakfast.
Originally built as a barn in the 1940's, the inn's size and
form bespeak its humble origins.
Your innkeepers, Larry and Carol Alberty, together with local
Amish craftsmen, have meticulously transformed the three- story barn
into a blissful refuge with timeless appeal. With its covered
porches and many appointed sitting areas, Red Oak Inn is a bed and
breakfast for all seasons.

Wrap-around porches and a roost of rockers may entice warm
weather visitors into practicing the gentle art of porching. Or,
they may choose to sip a refreshing iced drink in the sun room,
where floor to ceiling windows overlook meadows and woodlands. A
full country breakfast is served here during the summer. The
intimate tables and pastoral view make this an ideal spot to begin
or end the day.
When weather is chilly, the warmth of a crackling fire draws
guests to the keeping room. Here, breakfast is served at the long
harvest table. Guests may linger over coffee and the morning paper
in one of the deep and comfortable chairs around the hearth.
Visitors may choose from five distinctively decorated guest rooms, some with window seats,
each with a private bath.
The upstairs guest rooms open onto a generously wide central
hall which leads to the east balcony - a romantic spot for star
gazing or watching the early morning sunrise. The cozy loft at the
top of the stairs is a quiet place to visit with a friend or curl up
with a book.
Red Oak Inn is ideally suited to accommodate family reunions,
anniversary celebrations, small luncheons, weddings, receptions, and
business retreats. Your hosts are dedicated to your every comfort
with gracious and personalized service
